In short: Studio LULO does not track you. This website sets no cookies for visitors, uses no analytics or advertising tools and loads nothing from tracking services. We only use the details you send us yourself, to answer you.

1. Who we are
Studio LULO is the photography and videography studio of Lukas & Lore. The controller responsible for your personal data is:

Our address is available on request and is listed in the Belgian Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (KBO). The same company also runs lukasandlore.com, visuellebylore.com and ateliervisuelle.be.
2. What we collect, why and on what legal basis
When you contact us
The contact form asks for your name, your e-mail address and your message. We use them only to answer you and, if you wish, to prepare a proposal. Legal basis: steps you ask us to take before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to messages (GDPR art. 6.1 b and f).
Your message is stored in our website’s database and sent to our mailbox. To keep spam out, the form is checked by Akismet (Automattic): your message, e-mail address, IP address and browser details are sent to Akismet for that check. Messages that look automated are kept apart as spam.
When you visit the website
Like every website, our hosting provider’s server receives technical details when you open a page (IP address, browser, the page requested, date and time). These are used only to deliver the site and to keep it secure (legitimate interest, GDPR art. 6.1 f). Security tools (Jetpack by Automattic) check login attempts and suspicious requests to block attacks.
We do not use visitor statistics, advertising, tracking pixels or social media plug-ins. The fonts, photos and videos all come from our own server.
The Instagram photos on our homepage are copies stored on our own server, so showing them sends nothing to Instagram. Only when you click a post or a link to @lukasandlore do you go to Instagram, where Meta’s own privacy policy applies.
3. How long we keep your data
Contact messages, server logs and security data: We keep this data no longer than needed for the purpose it was collected for, and in any case in line with the retention periods required by Belgian law.
Documents we need for our accounts are kept as long as Belgian accounting and tax law requires.
4. Who else processes your data
- Combell (Belgium): web hosting and database.
- Zoho (EU data centre): our e-mail; messages from the contact form are delivered through it.
- Automattic (Jetpack and Akismet, United States): spam filtering of the contact form and website security.
We never sell your data and we don’t share it for advertising.
5. Transfers outside the EU
Automattic is based in the United States. It takes part in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission considers to give adequate protection. Apart from that, we do not transfer your data outside the European Economic Area.
6. Cookies
This website sets no cookies for visitors and stores nothing on your device, which is why you don’t see a cookie banner. The only cookies are technical ones for the people who maintain the site, set when they log in:

If we ever add tools that need cookies (for example visitor statistics), we will update this page and ask for your permission first.
7. Your rights
You can ask us at any time for access to the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its use, to receive it in a common format (portability), or you can object to its use. Where you gave permission, you can withdraw it at any moment. Just e-mail privacy@lukasandlore.com; we reply within one month.
8. Complaints
Not happy with how we handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be. We would appreciate the chance to sort it out with you first.

All photos, videos and texts on this website were made by Lukas & Lore / Studio LULO. We own all rights. Copying or reusing them without our prior written permission is not allowed.
10. Changes
When the website changes in a way that affects your privacy, we update this page and the date at the top.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
Only if you accept marketing cookies, we show advertisements from Google AdSense (Google Ireland Ltd.). Google may then use cookies to show and measure ads, and, depending on your choice, to personalise them. Without that consent, no advertising script is loaded.
